Mission Statement
The Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve is an organization of people dedicated to assist the Kickapoo Reserve Management Board in its mission to preserve and protect the lands entrusted to the Reserve by raising funds and public awareness, and by providing volunteers for needed projects.

History
The Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve (KVR) was established in November 2002 and provides the KVR crucial support by raising funds and public awareness, and by providing volunteers for needed projects.

Board of Directors
KVR Friend Board of Directors is comprised of seven KVR Friend members that are elected to each serve three year terms. Members can serve two consecutive terms. After being off the board for at least one year, a member can be re-elected. Board officers are elected for the upcoming year at the Friend of the KVR annual meeting each October. KVR Friend board meetings are held every other month, If you are interested in serving on the KVR Friends Board, please contact the President of the KVR Friends.
