Friends Adopt A Highway Cleanup

As part of  the Kickapoo Valley Reserve Earth Day events the Friends completed our Annual Roadside Cleanup on April 20. More than 9 large bags of trash were picked up between the Visitor Center and Hwy P. Thank you clean up volunteers!

Friends Adopt A Highway Clean Up

The Friends Adopt a Highway segment is along Hwy 131 from Harris Rd (just north of the Visitor Center) north to Cty Hwy P. The South half of the segment was completed Sunday, Apr 23. The North half Saturday, Apr 29.

Garlic Mustard Gathering

Garlic Mustard Gathering was a weeklong, volunteer driven, stewardship event to remove invasive species (garlic mustard plants) from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve landscape. Over 300 pounds of garlic mustard was pulled!
