Friends Turn Over Forest School Building
On Oct. 21 Friends of Kickapoo Valley Reserve handed over the keys to the new Forest School building to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The Friends held official ownership during construction. Above, Friends Board members hand the keys to Reserve Board member Scott Lind who supervised construction.

Friends Adopt A Highway Clean Up
The Friends Adopt a Highway segment is along Hwy 131 from Harris Rd (just north of the Visitor Center) north to Cty Hwy P. The South half of the segment was completed Sunday, Apr 23. The North half Saturday, Apr 29.
Garlic Mustard Gathering
Garlic Mustard Gathering was a weeklong, volunteer driven, stewardship event to remove invasive species (garlic mustard plants) from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve landscape. Over 300 pounds of garlic mustard was pulled!
