The Friends of the KVR hosts a number of great events and help with the KVR’s big events. Volunteer jobs include set-up, supervising, bringing a dish to pass, leading hikes, clean-up, etc. Event volunteers play a major role in making events successful! Below is a full list of events. The Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve manage the visitor center gift shop. Volunteers help select and price products, update displays seasonally, clean as needed, conduct inventory and staff the gift shop during group visits and events. All proceeds support Kickapoo Valley Reserve programs and projects. If interested in helping with the gift shop, please contact info@kickapoofriends.org.

The Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve designed and maintain the visitor center circle drive garden and the Star Valley memorial garden. Garden volunteers meet every other Tuesday at 5:15 p.m., tending the garden until about 7 p.m. and then adjourn to the back deck for refreshments and conversation. If interested in helping with the gardens, please contact info@kickapoofriends.org.

BOARD INVOLVEMENT
The Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve board of directors is comprised of seven members. Board members must be a member of the Friends of the Reserve. Terms are three years in length. Board meetings are usually held every month. If interested in becoming a board member, please contact info@kickapoofriends.org.

COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT
