Friends of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve received the generous donation of a tractor mounted prairie seeder from Steve Cottrell. Shown above with KVR Property Manager Jason Leis and FoKVR president Tom Miron.
The seeder will be used for the Reserve’s restoration projects and Jason will be developing a program to lend the seeder to other land owners working on prairie restoration.
The seeder is specialized for handling mixtures of prairie plant seeds of different sizes and shapes.
