The Kickapoo Valley Reserve Management Board is pleased to announce the selection of Scott Walter (above) as the new Kickapoo Valley Reserve Executive Director.
The KVRMB hiring committee, with assistance of the Wisconsin Dept. of Administration Human Resources Division, and the Kickapoo Reserve Management Board, unanimously approved Scott as the new executive director of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.
Scott brings extensive skills and experience to the executive director position at the Reserve. He is currently Area Wildlife Supervisor for the La Crosse and Black River Falls DNR area. He will begin as KVR executive director on July 15th, 2021. Scott and his family live on a seven generation family farm in the Viola area.
